A half hour lesson is generally for children. The emphasis is on fun and learning to read music.
A three quarter hour lesson suits adults or more advanced children. Jill’s approach is very flexible and she will tailor the lessons to suit the requirements of the individual. Pupils might follow a more traditional exam based structure or work on repertoire of their choice and there is always an emphasis on improving in standard.
A one hour lesson is run along the same lines as a three quarter hour lesson but for pupils requiring or preferring more time.
The Adult Intensive Piano Course is a unique course run from Jill’s home in Stoke Newington.
Lessons are one to one and there are 5 one hour lessons spaced over a 2 or 3 week period.
The course takes a complete beginner (or someone with experience of playing piano as a child) to playing interesting pieces hands together by the fifth class.
All course material and music has been written by Jill.
It is usually run January, March/April and July but sometimes Jill can fit in a pupil if they are unable to do these periods.
