Jill trained at The Royal Academy of Music in London and has since used her skill and passion to play and create music and help others do the same.

Jill has composed for the media writing and playing music that has featured in, most notably, documentaries about Sir Alex Ferguson, Nadia Comaneci and Fabio Capello, a series on Sky Sports called ‘Sporting Greats’.She has also studied with Faber Music Media Academy to further hone her composition for TV & Film Skills. Currently Jill is studying on a Songwriting course with The Songwriting Academy.

Jill specialises in composing piano music. She works quickly to a brief and is flexible, versatile and personable. She is proficient with Logic Pro. Jill is also a competent singer and is currently working on a few ideas for musicals for children. She is passionate about children and music and set up ‘Songclub N4’ 3 years ago to provide a community choir for the children in her local area of Stroud Green, where the ability to pay is no obstacle. Presently this is an early years choir (5-8yrs old) but there are plans for a choir for older children.

Alongside teaching adults and young people to play, Jill has also written a piano tutor book for adult students published by Music Sales Ltd. She has also composed and written ‘The Adult Intensive Piano Course’ -this helps adults who are beginners or want to revisit lessons they had when they were younger, play confidently after five hour-long lessons that can be taken at your own schedule. The course works best when the 5 lessons are taken over 2 or 3 weeks.
